Newcastle Then York

Taken me a little while to write up, but a week and a bit ago saw a little trip up north for some comedy entertainment, then a romantic Valentine’s break to York. The first part of that wasn’t the best, but the second part was lovely. Details follow.

My love for the old “Get Carter” car park in Gateshead has been recorded before. The cries of “progress” (and Tesco) have been heard though and they have finally completed knocking it down. So what happened to all that mighty building. Well, a tiny amount of it ended up in the hands of those who appreciated it, like me. So I have a little bit of Gateshead history

Three weeks in, 21 photos on. It’s tough at times (there’s only so much inspiration when all you have to shoot is your lunch time walk. I’ve finally corrected my cameras clock for this week though!
